Thursday 1st March - How to taste

Thursday 29th March - New World v Old World (Why they are different and which is best for what)

25th or 26th  April - Classic Varietals (What makes a Chardonnay, Cabernet etc. good)

30th or 31st May - Wine Mans' Bluff.  Test what you have learned, great fun, you decide from three descriptions which is correct.  The prise is dinner in Ducks!

Wine Dinner Evenings

Ducks Cellar Classics will be run in Ducks, dinner will be £45 to £50 with wines on top, they will be limited to 20 places and the 1st will be on the 5th April 2012 with some great wines from my cellar!  We will do these mostly in the winter with a special room price of £60. 

We will be able to do them by request for groups of a minimum of 12.

Donald's Sunday Wine Suppers

Simple food from a wine region of the world with matching wines!  The aim is to have a tutored tasting dinner on the first Friday of the month in Donald's Bistro, the first on Friday the 2nd of March.  Each Sunday thereafter the food and wine will be available from 5pm as either a one, two tree or four course meal

Wine Makers Dinners

In conjunction with our suppliers we hope to run Wine Maker's Dinners.  WE hope the 1st will be on the 7th of June with wines from La Tunella, Italy.  We will confirm this as soon as possible.

As well as our usual offerings of fine dining and a place to rest your head, Ducks at Kilspindie House will play host to range of gigs, promoted by Mundell Music. This is a chance to see some well loved artists in one off, intimate gigs.

We have just finished our autumn series of gigs,  there will be a new gig list appearing for early 20012.  Watch this space.
